Nature Learners

Bush Kindy happens two days a week at Learning Pathways for our Kindergarten Learners. We invite 10 children to each session with two of our specially trained Bush Kindy educators.

An important part of childhood is being outside in nature

At Learning Pathways, we believe childhood is precious and we acknowledge that an important part of childhood is being able to access nature. We know that children are natural learners who embrace every opportunity to explore. We recognise that children need more unstructured time outside and this knowledge is supported by research. We view Bush Kindy as an extension of our unique indoor/outdoor program which forms a special part of our learners complete early learning experience.

Redwood Forest

Our Bush Kindy program takes place on the escarpment of The Great Dividing Range in Redwood Park. Situated on 243 hectares of beautiful diverse vegetation and bushland, our Bush Kindy learners are able to explore bush trails, creek beds and natural elements such as rocks, fallen trees, wildlife and water.
